Certificate II in Cookery students made potato and chorizo croquettes today. They focused on deep frying, boiling, rolling consistently, and making a sauce. This was part of the unit "Prepare Simple Dishes and Using Basic Methods of Cookery."

 

VET Certificate II Cookery Students in Action

Our VET Certificate II Cookery students are in full swing with their lunch services. The menu this week featured minestrone soup, grilled chicken Caesar salad, fish and chips, osso buco, risotto, chocolate puff, and fried bananas. The students are diligently working on their prep lists, time management, and teamwork skills.

 

Next week, the restaurant is nearly fully booked, but we will offer takeaways. We will also have a new menu, so stay tuned!
