On the 22nd of July HC had 2 representative Senior Boys Basketball teams compete in Ararat at the Black Ranges Competition.
The boys had some tough players to come up against, where they demonstrated excellent play and teamwork throughout the day. Both teams played 12 minutes halves against 4 other schools.
Horsham Yellow team came away with 3 out of 4 wins and the Horsham College Blue team came away with 2 out of 4 wins. Well done to all the boys who participated on the day and displayed our school values on and off the court
Horsham College had one Senior Girls basketball representative team compete in the Black Ranges Competition on the 22nd of July. The team defeated Holy Trinity Lutheran College in the round robin game and then defeated St Brigid's College in the final.
All the players displayed the College’s school values of commitment and collaboration and should be very proud of their efforts. The team were declared overall winners of the day and will now progress to compete at the Greater Western Region finals later this term. contributions from all that hit the court.
Last Thursday 18th July, HC had four talented runners compete and represent our school in the SSV State Cross Country titles held in Melbourne. In very wet and incredibly muddy conditions, here are the results of the athletes on the day:
Clara S - 80th out of 100
Henry O - 28th out of 74
Aiden R - 11th out of 82
Tarkyn B - 41st out of 88
The results are amazing as students competed against the best of the best in the State. Our whole HC community are very proud of your commitment and dedication.
