Next Thursday 1st August we will be celebrating Crazy Hair Day at Sacred Heart. This has been initiated by one of our Year 5 students, Lenny Greenham.
Lenny was diagnosed with Alopecia in 2023 and has decided to shave his newly grown hair on Saturday 3rd August with all funds raised going to the Alopecia Foundation to support children with alopecia.
Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation on Thursday to support Lenny and his fundraising efforts.
Lenny has an online auction, if you are interested in donating to his cause or making a bid, please click on the link below!

Hi, My name is Lenny and I am 11 years old. In 2023 I picked up a Double Bacterial Infection and I got very sick and my hair fell out. After numerous tests for all sorts of illnesses i was diagnosed with Alopecia and I lost almost 80% of my hair. The gene sat dormant in my system all my life and when my immune system was so low, that's when it kicked in.
I have worked with Erin and Cath to organise a Crazy Hair day at Sacred Heart, which is happening this Thursday. You can wear a wig, coloured hair spray, crazy hairstyles, anything you want. Please bring a gold coin donation and all money raised will be going to the Alopecia Foundation to support kids with alopecia.
We think you are a star Lenny!
