Term 2 Sport is well underway, with a fantastic 24 teams competing in rosters for hockey, netball, badminton and water polo. Thank you to parents, staff and fellow students that have volunteered their time to help coach, manage and umpire the many teams we have representing the College this term.
Secondary Cross Country Team
We had a fabulous day at the SSATIS Cross Country yesterday, in cool, but sunny conditions. We were very proud of the students that signed up to participate; willing to take on the very tough course, aiming to do their best, and score points for the College. Students encouraged each other and displayed determination and resilience. The team finished equal 4th in the Girls Junior Shield, out of 13 schools, a tremendous achievement.
Congratulations to the following students who competed, noting top 20 finishers:

Tennis Achievement
Congratulations to Year 5 student, Mila McLennan, who has been selected to represent Tasmania at the tennis Australian Teams Championships on the Gold Coast in June. This is very exciting for Mila, and I’m sure she has been training very hard in preparation. Good luck Mila!
