Marine Science at Deakin
Students studying marine science at Deakin have access to spectacular marine environments teeming with rich biodiversity. Delivered at the Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool campuses, students become experts in ocean systems by exploring a broad range of disciplines, including marine biology and ecology, oceanography, marine mapping, conservation, aquaculture, fisheries, marine and coastal management.

Construction Management -Burwood 2026
From Trimester 1 2026, students will be able to complete the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) at Deakin’s Melbourne Burwood or Geelong Waterfront Campus.
Students graduate with market-ready skills for careers in construction management, quantity surveying and property development. Students will also gain valuable hands-on experience through an industry placement elective, helping them kickstart their professional journey.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy
Students should note that the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, taught at the Gippsland Campus, is a participating course in the Early Offer Program, meaning students who are selected into this degree through the Early Offer Program can enter with a guaranteed ATAR of 75.00.
Importantly, applicants to complete the first year of the following Federation degree courses will be eligible for consideration to pathway into Physiotherapy based on their performance: Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and Bachelor of Biomedical Science.

Australian and PR students are eligible to apply and must ensure they meet the prerequisite subjects for their preferred course, and attain the guaranteed ATAR required. Applications opened on 1 April 2025 and will close 1 December 2025. Successful students will receive a conditional offer in September 2025.
Studying Engineering at Monash
The undergraduate engineering courses at Monash are designed with choice and flexibility in mind, to optimise career prospects and encourage students to diversify their study options. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) can become a fully qualified and accredited engineer in just four years.
This course requires students to complete a total of 420 hours of continuous professional development, in order to graduate. This professional development may be in the form of 12 weeks of relevant vacation employment or an equivalent combination of approved professional development and/or engineering employment, taken throughout the duration of the course. Students are required to submit a series of reflections on their experience, with particular reference to development of each of the key Engineers Australia Stage 1 competencies.

New Earn and Learn Model
With this in mind, RMIT, together with its industry partners, has developed the ‘Earn and Learn’ model - a nationally recognised work-based-learning qualification that combines vocational and higher education, co-designed and delivered with industry.
It combines TAFE and University Education to create learning opportunities to address looming skills shortages, improve workforce participation, as well as the need to upskill and reskill large parts of the workforce.
Students will be paid as a full-time employee at their place of work, earning a pay check as they gain their degree. Their employer will also make a contribution to their student tuition fees. Employers will have the ability to hone students’ craft and shape their skills and expertise to suit their needs, while also teaching them intangible workplace skills. Degree Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Medical Radiation (Nuclear Medicine – Industry Practice) (in Queensland).The University expects to roll out ‘Earn and Learn’ models across more programs in the coming years.
Diploma of Business
The Diploma of Business covers personal and team effectiveness, communication with customers, business continuity for sustainability and risk, and business success through planning. After graduation, students may choose to transition to further education or employment opportunities.
Graduates will be guaranteed entry into the course/s below, usually with credit.
