Education Week 2025 – Celebration of Cultures
This year’s Education Week theme, Celebration of Cultures, highlights the rich diversity of Victorian schools and reminds us that every child deserves a place to learn, grow, and feel safe and welcome.
Across the school, students engaged in activities to reflect on the cultures that make up our world and our local community.
Prep–2 students created flags from around the world and explored our new world map to discover where these countries are located.
Grades 3–6 students researched different countries and their cultures to explore and appreciate the many ways people live around the world.
Our whole school participated in a Resilience Project Day that focused on the core values of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness. Students engaged in meaningful activities and discussions that helped them reflect on how these values shape a positive and caring school community.
We also enjoyed a special whole school shared reading session, where students from all year levels came together to read and share books.
Our school leaders played a key role in our Open Day, proudly leading school tours and representing our school with confidence and warmth. They were outstanding ambassadors and role models for our community.
