Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week – Bridging Now to Next
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements—and to reflect on how we can all contribute to building respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider community.
This year’s theme, ‘Bridging Now to Next’, is a reminder that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people must continue.
At Grayling, all of our student artists have explored First Nations stories, artists, and symbols through their artwork. Their thoughtful and expressive works show an appreciation for Indigenous culture and reflect their understanding of reconciliation in action.
These artworks will be proudly displayed in the library as a visual reminder of our commitment to listening, learning, and walking together towards a more inclusive future.
