VET Student of the Month Maggie Hawkins

Food Technology

Year 11 IEC 

Each week Mr Partridge takes year 11 IEC student for Food Technology. In week 6 they cooked delicious pancakes.

Yr 10 Food Technology

Yr 10 food students have been busy working on their celebration cake for assessment 2. These are just a few examples of their outstanding skills. All students in Year 10 Food Technology are to be congratulated on their fine effort and we might have some budding Adriano Zumbo's amongst them!

Yr 8 Technology Mandatory

Our Year 8 students have been cooking up a storm in Agriculture Food! This week’s delicious creation: Egg Florentine Pizza – a tasty twist combining fresh ingredients and practical cooking skills.

Year 11 Textiles

Year 8 Technology

This semester Mr Thomas's Year 8 Tech class have been investigating Engineered Systems. They have researched motion, force and resistance affects on moving objects. This was achieved in conjunction with research and design of a Co2 race car. The students got to design and make their own car. Earlier this term they were able to test and race the cars in the MPU. They are seen in the pictures below doing the final paint jobs to make their cars look cool. 

Year 10 Metal

The students have been making star picket pullers in Year 10 Metal.

White Card Course

In Week 5 several of our students participated in a 'White Card' course. They completed a variety of scenarios to help prepare them to work safely in the construction industry. This qualification will allow the students to access worksites for work experience, work placement and future work opportunities.
