Monday 2nd June
We are looking forward to a fun-filled day at our annual Whole School Athletics Carnival, which will be held at Holroyd Sportsground on Monday, 2nd June — hopefully with no rain in sight!
Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 will participate in events within their class groups, while students in Years 3 to 6 will compete in age-based groups according to the age they turn this year.
All students are required to bring recess, lunch and plenty of water for the day. We also recommend that students bring a towel or large garbage bag to sit on, as the grounds may be damp with morning dew.
To stay sun-safe, students should come prepared with a hat and sunscreen, which should be applied before arriving. Students are encouraged to wear a coloured t-shirt representing their house group.
Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend and support the students throughout the day. We look forward to a fun, active day for all!
Discus, Diocesan Athletics - High Jump and 1500m
Any student who would like to compete in discus, high jump or 1500m will need to email or print off their athletics HQ PB’s for me to nominate them. This is due by July 30th. Any questions, please see me.
On Tuesday, 3rd June, the rescheduled Stage 3 soccer gala day will occur at Jamison Park, South Penrith. All students are to be at school by 7:00 am. Please complete the permission section in COMPASS to attend the day. We wish our stage 3 soccer girls the best of luck!
Today, the boys in years five and six, will trial for the upcoming Soccer Gala Day, which will be held on Wednesday, 18th June.
Trials will be held on Thursday, 5 June 2025, for the stage 2 boys and Friday 6th June for the girls. The stage 2 soccer gala day will be on Wednesday, 25th June.
All trials are held on the lower grass playground from 8:10 am. The students need to be at the trial in order to be selected for the team.
More information about these gala days will be given closer to the date.
