Dear Families,
This week, as part of Student Wellbeing, the whole school is focusing on the Character Strength of Love of Learning!
Love of learning is a character strength that describes a child’s natural curiosity and excitement about discovering new things. It is more than enjoying schoolwork — it’s about being eager to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow their understanding of the world.
As part of this focus, each child is invited to contribute to our school “Hive of Learning” display using the hexagon which was given to them this week! This could be in any area, such as Sports, Music, Creative Arts, Maths, Science, English or something they enjoy exploring at home. They may also choose to paste a photo or draw a picture that represents their learning passion.
Some ideas to help you start your sentences are:
I love to learn about…
My favourite thing to learn is…
I am passionate about…
I enjoy exploring…
Learning about... makes me excited because…
Our learning hive will be displayed on the library doors to create a ‘Hive of Learning’ display, so please cut around the outline before returning.
Please bring your hexagon to school by Friday, 6th June, to be included in the display.
Thank you for supporting this initiative. Let’s celebrate our Love of Learning together!
