Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians

Dear Parents and Careres,

We celebrated the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians on Monday, May 26th. This special day in the Catholic Church honours Mary, Mother of Jesus, with the title 'Our Lady Help of Christians' – a name acknowledging how the faithful have sought her help in times of need.

Mary is a model of faith, courage, and love. She said “yes” to God and walked with Jesus through both joyful and difficult times. Just like a loving mother, she is always near, guiding us gently and praying for us.

On this feast day, we are reminded that we are never alone. When we face challenges or need strength, we can turn to Mary, Our Lady Help of Christians, the patroness of Australia and ask for her intercession.

As a school community, let us strive to be like Mary—open to God’s call, kind to others, and ready to help those in need.
