From the Principal

For a College at only 25 years of age we have created some very special traditions, and the final day of Year 12 is no exception.

I am so proud of the current staff and students, as were the principals before me.

Today was another insight into how very special and unique our College is. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the Class of 2023 and welcome the student leaders and the Class of 2024.

The day began with staff cooking and serving breakfast for students in a 'decorated' Mall. For many, this is the last opportunity to formally serve our current Year 12s, before they begin to exit their 'high school' chapter. It's a wonderful tradition, that has stood the test of time from the College's inception.

The tradition of farewelling our Year 12s through Village activities continued with all eight Villages celebrating the fantastic impact that the Class of 2023 has had on our wonderful community.

This is the chance for all year levels to rally around the Year 12s, celebrate their time here and wish them well in what lies ahead.

The Year 12 Final Day Assembly was a wonderful event showcasing many of the wonderful talents from the Class of 2023.

The Year 12 cohort spent many hours preparing for this occasion. It was great to see so much creativity and enthusiasm shine through from all, encapsulating how tight knit their cohort is.

The changing of the guard was a very special moment as the Year 11s farewelled the

Year 12s in front of the entire community, followed by the announcement of the 2024 Student Executive and handing over of the Captains’ badges.

It takes a village to raise a child, and all Villages have cared for these Year 12s for up to six years. A grateful thanks need to go to these teachers for their ongoing support of students. Year 12 itself is a big year and thanks must also go to Mr Daniel Wooldridge for his commitment, support and encouragement to this cohort to get them ready for this transition chapter in their lives.

I would officially like to announce your new College Captains and Student Action Team for 2024:

College Captain – Vinka Lakic

College Captain – Jack Wake-Dyster

Student Action Captain, holding the portfolioof Spiritual and Community Building – Crystal Manning

Student Action Captain, holding the portfolio of Media, Communication and Event Promotion – Miles Pennington

Student Action Captain, holding the portfolio of Charity and Service Enrichment – Amelia Russell

While our time with one cohort is nearing its end, it is our absolute joy to welcome another. Welcome to the incoming parents and caregivers. We hope you come to know just how special Endeavour's community is and we look forward to getting to know you throughout your child's secondary education journey.
