Principal's Message

Today the whole school listened to 14 students make their Captain speeches. The students talked about how they would make a great leader for Eglinton PS in 2024. I would like to congratulate all the students for their fabulous speeches, you all deserve to be leaders of our school. I could not have been prouder of all of them.

Swim School has commenced, and the students are having a lovely time at the pool. I am extremely impressed with their behavior and the way they are representing Eglinton PS.

Our Student Leaders, Student Representative Council, and our K-6 classes attended Kings Parade on Tuesday. The students had the opportunity to pick flowers and make posies to then deliver to the residents at Riverview Care Community. This was a wonderful community service event for our students to be a part of. Thank you to Mrs Flanagan for organising, the students and staff had a wonderful morning.

Did you know that for your child to achieve an attendance rate of 95% each term they should have no more than 2 days off. 

You can check your child's attendance rate on the Sentral Parents App. Click on their photo, select 'Student Details' and click on 'Attendance'. Our expected student attendance rate is above 95%. To maintain an attendance rate of above 90% a student should have no more than 5 days off a term.
