Foundation, Grades 1 & 2
All Foundation, Grade 1 & 2 students competed in some relay races to celebrate Melbourne Cup! Relay races have been a work in progress with our younger students, it has taken a lot of practice to get to this point, but this week we are racing professionals! We raced using different skills and equipment, running, horse races on pool noodles and skateboard races on our knees.
To finish off the lesson we had an exciting game of poison ball. A lot of students had never even heard of this, so it was a fantastic way to introduce a new game! This will definitely be played again this year!!
