It's all about the fete this week and there is still much to do!

 

ST JOHN'S PARISH COMMUNITY FETE- 5 DAYS TO GO!

Our Parish and School Fete is in 5 days’ time. At this stage the weather is looking perfect, but the volunteer lists are not looking great. There are many, many gaps that need to be filled so this great community event can run properly and so stall holders who have already put in many hours of preparation can get at least a bit of a break. 

 

Can you spare an hour or two to help out on a stall? If every family could give an hour or two then the day will run much more smoothly for all.

CAKE STALL DONATIONS - This is the week for baking!

Do you have a talent for baking delectable cakes? If you’re inclined to whip up mouth-watering treats, we’d be grateful for your donations of baked goods. From cookies to cupcakes, brownies to Bundt cakes, your homemade goodies will be a delightful addition to our cake stall.Please drop off your baked goods to the Cake Stall on Friday 17th November between 9am and 1pm or Saturday morning before 10am.

 

HELP NEEDED- FACE PAINTING STALL!

The face painting stall has no cashier between 10-1 and we really need some! They are 1 hr shifts, go quickly and you can get the benefit of seeing the absolute joy on the children's faces when they see and are delighted by their painted faces! We are also short on face painters in all sessions. Lena or I can step in to take payments, but it is probably a waste of our skills and there will be less painters which will in turn mean the line which is always busy will be very long for all the keen toddlers and children to wait in. RIDE WRISTBANDS

Purchase your Wristbands before Fete Day and Save! $40 pre-fete, $45 from Friday 17th November and Fete Day. Use the TRY BOOKING website to pay on-line, then collect your wristbands from the school office - bring you E-ticket as proof of purchase. Wristbands can be collected from the offices (week commencing 13th November), or from the RIDE TICKET STALL on Saturday 18th November. CHOCOLATE BLOCKS and LOLLY BAGS

If your family has not yet sent in a block of chocolate for the Lob-a-choc or a Bag of Lollies for the Sweet Stall there is still time. Please send them into the office on the next few days.

 

 

BAKERS DELIGHT CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER

 

Today flyers have come home advertising our Bakers Delight Christmas Fundraiser. Lemon Tarts, Fruit Mince Pies and Christmas Cakes in 2 sizes are available to purchase with some of the profits going towards our fundraising goals. 

We have decided to run this fundraiser, as not only are they quality products, but also as a thank you to Bakers Delight, Brentford Square and the owner, Damian who over the past year has supplied many of our events with free bread and/or rolls including to the weekly Auskick BBQ, Referendum Day BBQ. Twilight Sports BBQ 2022 and 2023 and heavily discounted items for events such as the Father's Day Breakfasts. We ask you to support this fundraiser if you can or even ask friends and family if they would like you to purchase items through us. 

All orders and payments are to be made by CDF Pay by THURSDAY 30th NOVEMBER

Orders will be available to collect from the Community centre Kitchen on Friday 8th December

 

SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB

Orders for Issue 8, the final catalogue of the year are due in by next 

MONDAY 20th NOVEMBER.

As of next year, no cash orders please, ONLINE only.
