Girls Oztag

In Stage 2 Oztag, our teams are truly shining as they display their growing skills on the field every week. Coming back after the Winter break, the Roselea girls delivered a remarkable performance, triumphing over Cherrybrook PS with a score of 13-3. This victory was the result of two key missions that our team embraced wholeheartedly.

The first mission revolved around playing with strategic awareness. Each girl stayed steadfast in her designated position, demonstrating unwavering trust in her teammates to defend their respective areas. Captain Chloe played a pivotal role by ensuring seamless communication among the girls, guiding them throughout the game with her encouraging words and strategic insights.

Our second mission was to inject inclusivity and maintain a positive atmosphere within the team. Welcoming two new recruits, Olivia and Livia, brought a refreshing energy to the squad. Before the game, it was evident that these young players were nervous. However, once the game kicked off, Olivia and Livia showcased an exceptional understanding of the game. They effectively tagged opponents, gained significant ground, and uplifted their teammates with words of encouragement, especially during unforced mistakes.

Witnessing the remarkable progress of these young athletes was not only satisfying but also incredibly joyful as their coach. I am confident that with such enthusiasm, teamwork, and positive spirit, our team is bound to have an outstanding season, fostering strong bonds among players and creating memorable experiences for everyone involved.
