Lunchtime Musical Performances
Beau Landes- Performing Arts Teacher
We are so very lucky to have many talented young musicians at our school learning various instruments. Some students have only just started their musical journeys whilst others have been practising for many years. At CPS we love to provide opportunities for all our kids to shine, we collaborated with Stephan, our guitar teacher, to showcase their learning and talent through lunchtime performances.
With a set up stage outside the Year 1 balcony, our Year 6 leaders and musicians gathered up their guitars, mics, and amps to rock out and perform for their classmates and peers whilst they ate their lunch. The rock stars brought out their inner Angus Young and demonstrated Carnegie Primary spirit, playing tunes including the Mission Impossible theme, Super Mario, Imagine Dragon and more.
We hope to keep these performances happening, as fun and excitement was shared by all.
If students at the school have been inspired, families are welcome to contact Stephan to arrange guitar lessons stephanbajurnow@yahoo.com.au
Keep on rockin’ Carnegie!
Beau Landes.
