These words, captured in our recent school review report, truly captures what makes St Martin de Porres such a special place. The reviewer came to this conclusion after spending time with our staff, students and parents, and it is a reflection of the collaborative spirit that binds us together.

Here at St Martin de Porres, we believe that pride in our school goes hand-in-hand with a sense of belonging. We take great care in cultivating a welcoming environment that reflects not just academic excellence, but also a commitment to well-being. Walk through our doors and you'll find clean grounds, well-maintained facilities, and vibrant learning spaces that inspire creativity and engagement.

This sense of belonging, fostered by a positive and inclusive environment, isn't just about feeling comfortable. Research shows that students who feel proud of their school exhibit better behaviour and achieve stronger academic outcomes. It's a powerful motivator that empowers them to take ownership of their learning and contribute positively to our school community.

Building upon this strength requires high expectations – for ourselves and for our students. By holding each other to a high standard, we cultivate a culture of excellence that allows everyone to reach their full potential. 

Our dedicated staff goes above and beyond to build positive relationships, create engaging lessons and provide the support our students need to thrive. Students, in turn, are encouraged to participate actively, challenge themselves, and strive for continuous improvement.

Just like life, we have our ups and downs here too. However, by always working together, we will ensure that St Martin de Porres remains a place where everyone feels proud to belong and empowered to make a difference.
