Cyber Safety/STEM

Cyber Safety/Stem

It’s hard to believe we are nearly halfway through the second term and there’s already been so many fun and exciting projects happening in STEM.

Year 3 and 4 students have been learning about engineering and learned firsthand the importance of following a design process when creating something.

Students have been learning important life skills such as learning from their mistakes, problem-solving, collaborating and communicating with others. It is amazing to see the big smiles as Year Four students create their circuit to power a light bulb. Whilst Year Three students work hard to build an arcade game using Makedo products, cardboard and everyday recycled materials.

Junior STEM students have also been learning about the importance of bees and how they are essential to our ecosystem. Students have been working in teams to design their own bee hotels as well as learning about why bees are important.

Keep up the good work and thank you to families that have brought in materials from home to assist with these projects.
