Term 2 In 3/4W

Maths

Recently, our focus during Maths has been on perimeter and area. The students have been exploring the differences between the two, how to measure perimeter and area, as well as using the perimeter and area formulas to solve various shape measurements.The students got the chance to measure the perimeter and area of their created robot.

Writing

During writing for the past few weeks we have been completing our Information Report booklets. We were given the opportunity to choose any animal that we wanted to research and learn more about. We have had to use our note taking and paraphrasing writing skills to construct paragraphs about our chosen animal.

Buddies

This past week we caught up with our buddies to complete an activity together. We decorated a picture frame with our favourite colours and decorations before we then stuck in a picture of us with our buddies.
