Group 6

Celebrating Progress: Group 6 Achievements This Term

This term, the students in group 6 made remarkable strides in developing essential skills. Through targeted activities, these young learners have enhanced their fine and gross motor abilities, engaged in exploratory play, and advanced their communication skills.  Students participated in activities like threading beads, moulding playdough, and obstacle courses, which improved their dexterity and coordination. Dance sessions and sports tailored to individual needs helped develop their larger movements and balance.  Interactive sessions with sand, water, and textured materials enriched sensory experiences, while creative tasks like painting and building blocks fostered cognitive and problem-solving skills.  Face-to-face games and singing sessions encouraged expressive language and social interaction. Augmentative and alternative communication tools, such as picture exchange systems and communication boards, provided additional support for effective communication.
