Principal's Report

Dear School Community,

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

Last week, we celebrated Education Week with a special focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Many of our classrooms participated in exciting science-based activities throughout the week. Students explored various scientific concepts through hands-on experiments, collaborative projects, and interactive learning sessions. It was wonderful to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they engaged in these educational activities, fostering a deeper interest in the STEM fields.

Reconciliation Week

Next week, we will be observing Reconciliation Week, a time dedicated to reflecting on and celebrating the rich history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Reconciliation Week is a crucial period for promoting understanding, respect, and unity among all Australians. It is an opportunity for us to learn about the significance of reconciliation, acknowledge the past, and work towards a shared future.

Our school has planned a series of activities and events to highlight the importance of reconciliation we and to encourage meaningful conversations. These activities aim to educate our students about the contributions and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and to foster an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and respected.

We encourage all students and staff to participate actively and contribute to this important conversation. By doing so, we help to build a more inclusive and understanding community within our school and beyond.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Warm Regards

Lindy
