School Sport Victoria Netball Trials
Last week, grade 6 student Darby L traveled to Melbourne to participate in tryouts for the 12/U Boys Victorian Netball team. Darby showcased his skills against a large group of aspiring netballers from across the state. Congratulations, Darby, on your efforts in representing our school at this event. Keep up the great work!
Braves Bicknells School’s Cup
Our amazing basketball team remains in the running for the Bicknell’s School Cup after claiming victory in the semi-final last Saturday evening at Bendigo Stadium. As part of the challenge, teams compete in a series of basketball skills and fitness components that contribute to an overall score. We wish our team the best of luck for the final and hope they can walk away with the $2000 Bicknell’s INTERSPORT voucher. Go team!
You can go along to watch them compete during half time of the Braves Men's game (approx 7.30pm) on the 22nd June.

Loddon Mallee Region Cross Country - St Arnaud
On the 28th of May Summer N and Emery M both competed at the St Arnaud Division Cross Country. This was the stage before the State Championships, so the competition was tough. But both results were amazing with 13th and 35th.
The grounds they said were perfect besides some hills and soft grounds. The environment was small with about 60 competitors in their race but this doesn't mean their competition was going to be easy.
Their previous results from the Sandhurst Divisions they placed 3rd and 8th and in St Arnaud they got 13th (Emery) and 35th (Summer). They both said they would have liked a higher place but tried their hardest. A massive effort by these 2 girls, running 8 and 9 minutes for 2km.
They went this far and made our school very proud so a massive congratulations to Emery Mackin and Summer Novak .

Just sign in at the gate on arrival and participate to the best of your ability.
New runners welcome. See Mr Epps if you have any questions.
