Thanks to The Mckern Foundation for donating fresh fruit to our school weekly.
This is a great initiative but please make sure children are still bringing a piece of fruit in their lunchbox for fruit break as fruit is not available all week.
On Saturday 1st of June, three students from our school participated in a big freeze event to raise money for Motor Neuron Disease (MND). Siblings Audrey, Mason & Brady took the big plunge in Mildura at halftime during a local football match between Red Cliffs and South Mildura. This event raised $15,000 towards fighting MND. Congratulations to Audrey, Mason and Brady for your participation in this great cause.

To ensure the safety of our children, parents and crossing supervisors we have been asked by City of Greater Bendigo - Community and Environmental Health Team to remind our community of the safety requirements when passing through school crossing zones.
Under the Road Safety Road Rules 2017, whenever the school crossing flags are displayed, it is illegal to stop or park:
If school crossing flags are displayed, you must stop for pedestrians. You must remain stopped until the crossing is clear.
During active school crossing times the speed limit is reduced to 40km/h.
