Dear Parents and Friends,

Book Fair Parade

Last Friday students (and staff) dressed as their favourite book character and took part in a parade. Each class presented their costumes and shared who their character was. It was a fun day a well done to all those who made the effort to dress up. This event was the conclusion of Book Fair Week that aimed to highlight the importance of reading.

Sick Students

There are a lot of new viruses going around at the moment, including a new strain of Covid and a nasty stomach virus. A reminder that if your child is unwell, please keep them home from school. These illnesses spread through classrooms to both students and staff at a fast rate.

Entering the school between 9am and 3.30pm

If parents or children are coming into the school after 9am or before 3.30pm, please come through the front office and not directly to the classroom. External doors are locked at this time.

Student toilets

A reminder that due to Child Safety requirements, parents are unable to go into the childrens' toilets. If needed, please come to the office where you will be directed to a staff toilet.

Parent Teacher Meetings will be held on Wednesday 19th June. (except those with children in 1/2B whose meetings will be held on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th June)

All children will finish school at 1pm on this day. Camp Australia After School Care will be available from this time.

Please go to your Parent Access Module (PAM) and click on Parent Teacher Interviews. Click on your child's name and you will be taken to the class and times to choose a suitable time.

Cross Country

Three of our Year 5/6 students qualified for the Monash/Waverley Division Cross Country. This took place last Wednesday in Blackburn South. Congratulations to Michelle Fan, Gemma Wood and Charlotte Archibald. They all ran well and were very competitive. It's not easy to get to this level and we are very proud of their efforts.

Parents' Association "Sip & Paint" Fundraiser

Come and join other parents to help raise money for the school and have fun.
