Principal's Update

GET READY FOR OUR STOMP PERFORMANCE: 

Friday 21st June 2.30pm in the Multi purpose room - all welcome!

Our students have been working on their dance moves all Term and we can't wait for the Performance!

MAMMA MIA! Wheelers Hill Secondary College

Our grade 5 and 6 students were invited to watch a performance of Mamma Mia at Wheelers Hill Secondary College.

The Performance was fantastic! There were some students in it who we recognised from Waverley Meadows! It's a fabulous musical with lots of songs to sing along to. The sets and stage had been created very professionally by the senior students. 

We were lucky at the end of the Show, the Stars all came out to do a "question answer" session with our students. Mitchy was even chosen to learn one of the dances and Keira was chosen to go up to the Bio Box to see where all the sound and lights are operated from.

Mandy Dennehy and I were invited to the VIP night performance this week.

We made good use of the photo booth! The show was brilliant and the community feel of Wheelers Hill Secondary College is fantastic!

I AM MINDFUL- our grade 5 students have commenced their I Am Mindful journey.

The I Am Mindful Program which is run with an external facilitator exists to teach young people, their teachers and parents safe and healthy ways to cope with anxiety and stress. To date , I Am Mindful has helped over 80,000 Australians in 100+ schools and is endorsed by mental health clinicians.

3 Way interviews: 

The countdown is on - there are only 2 more weeks of school for this term.

Student Reports will be out on Compass the last week of Term. Please make sure you have booked in your 3 way interview (parent, student and teacher) for either Thursday 27th or Friday 28th June.

Final Assembly will be on Wednesday 26th June at 2.30pm.

PREPS for 2025

If you know any potential Preps for 2025 please let them know about our Prep Expo on Wednesday 26th June 4.30-5.30pm.
