Grade 3/4 News

The Three and Four students have had another tremendous fortnight learning new skills in both Literacy and Numeracy.

Students have been honing their multiplication and division skills, focusing their energy on understanding arrays, repeated addition and grouping.

Our literacy learning time has seen students exploring new things about Australia, creating detailed information reports.

Students have put their knowledge of summarising to the test, choosing only the important and interesting pieces into their drafts.

Aside from the Fun Run, the Three and Four students also have an excursion to Galen to look forward to this Thursday (16th). Our students will be watching Aladdin Jr.

Congratulations to Evie O’Callaghan for winning the Wangaratta RSL colouring competition.

Evie was judged to have had the best piece from all schools in the Wangaratta area. Daniel Brady, Louis Ives and Lola Flynn were also recognised for their colourings, receiving encouragement awards.

Miss Holland’s birthday is this week (Tuesday the 14th), be sure to wish her a great day when you see her at school!
