Grade 1/2 News
In English 1/2 we have begun a unit on Dreamtime stories. Students are creating their own story based on Dreamtime stories such as, How the echidna got its spikes. We began with planning before writing the beginning, middle and end of our story.
In Mathematics this term we have been exploring telling the time to the hour, quarter past, half past and quarter to. Students had fun making their own clocks and practising telling and making the time.
We have also been learning about patterns. Students have experimented creating repeating patterns and growing patterns.
We congratulate our award winners on making respectful, responsible and safe choices in their learning and at school.
