Foundation students began a collage artwork last week based on the front cover of the novel “Ginger the Stray Kitten” by Holly Webb. We identified the pattern of stripes, then drew stripes on orange paper before cutting out a cat template. This week we will add in Ginger’s face and other details.

Students in 1/2 used the tartan patterns they had previously created to also make a collage, this time of a scotty dog.

We also need to add details to our dogs and perhaps a patterned border as a finishing touch.The students loved making their scotty dogs

Students in 3/4 paused their learning about Australian painter Anna Blatman to make a Mothers Day tea cup card. 

Tea anyone?

Students in 5/6 completed their ANZAC themed medals last week. 

Students were proud to wear or award their medals to others. 

Some classes had time to create an origami box to protect their medals as well.
