Bunnings BBQ Sat 7 October

Our Parents of Performing Arts Committee have secured a BBQ fundraiser at Bunnings Vermont on Saturday 7 October.  Thank you to our wonderful community for stepping up to volunteer on the day - their roster is now full! Please save the date and head down to Bunnings to buy a sausage and support POPA's fundraising efforts.

Gala Concert 2023

On Tuesday 12 September we held our annual Gala Concert at Bunjil Place Theatre, Narre Warren to a full audience of family, friends and special guests.

As Kevin has mentioned earlier in this Newsletter, the annual Gala Concert is a highlight of our College Calendar and it was made particularly special for all of us when we paid tribute to Andrew Jacobs with a live performance by our Production Band. I am especially proud of all our students for giving their best performances after a very challenging term. I received lovely feedback from students and families about the event and how much they appreciate our program. It was fantastic to look out and see the faces of our audience on the night.

Thank you to all our Performing Arts staff for their continued commitment to our students and program.  A special thank you to Andrew Lewis and the back stage and tech crews, including Evan, Jason Henderson and Ben Sargood.  Thank you to the Parents of Performing Arts for providing Awards to our graduating students. Thank you to all of our families for their continued support of students and our program - especially this term, with all its surprises and interruptions.

I wish our Year 12 VCE Music, Dance, and Theatre Studies students all the best with their practice and rehearsals ahead of Performance Exams next term.
