Be a Homestay Host

Are you interested in becoming a homestay host?

MGSC welcomes new parents and/or families to be hosts in 2024. With an international student in your home, you'll have the opportunity to learn about other cultures, customs, and traditions, form lasting friendships with your student's family, and explore fun things to do in Melbourne.

At least one year of commitment is required when hosting long-term international students. Homestay families receive a $370 per week tax-free payment for hosting an international student.
