The Year 3/4 Discovery learning focus for Term 4 is called "Wings and Things" - a unit exploring flight, including flying creatures and flying machines, and connections between the two.  Our upcoming excursion to Scienceworks (on Tuesday October 24th) will broaden our understandings of flight and inspire us as we begin to create our own flying machines later in the term! We have been eagerly watching the progress of both the Collins St and Charles Sturt University peregrine falcon families, and our weekly mentor texts for Reading are also building our knowledge of flying creatures and machines.

The Year 3/4 classes have also been preparing for our annual T-ball competition, set to take place in Week 11, with many eager T-ballers developing strategies and honing their skills during training sessions.
