This week in Writing we will continue working on our persuasive writing. 

VOCABULARY

Advertisement: Something that tries to persuade people to buy a product.

Slogan: A slogan is like a catch phrase. Advertisements use slogans to gain people's attention, to be memorable and to get people to buy products.

Examples of slogans are : 

Aussie kids are Weet Bix kids

We’re happy little Vegemites

I’m Lovin It

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to choose one of the products below (or create their own) and write a slogan that is going to convince you to buy the product.
