This week in Reading we are continuing our unit of questions and questioning.

VOCABULARY

Think and Search Questions: A think and search question is where you can find the answer over multiple sentences or pages in a book, not just in one space.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to create and if possible answer some Think and Search questions using their take home readers (or another book of their choice).

Some examples may be:

What happened before/after an event?

What are the different settings in which the story takes place?

Who are the different characters in the text?
