World Mission Month

Here in Australia, the month of October marks World Mission Month. This is a celebration of the global work of the Church and the dedication of missionaries, both religious and lay, as they reach out and support children and communities in need around the world.  This year’s theme for World Mission Month is:

Hearts on fire feet on the move.

Soctober

As a catholic learning community, we take the time and opportunity to work together to celebrate Mission Month.  This Friday 20th of October St Fidelis will be celebrating World Mission Month with Soctober. We invite you to design and create colourful socks to wear on the day.  Please donate a gold coin to this worthy cause. Your gold coin donation will provide and support children and their families with their health and wellbeing needs, education and daily meals. 

2024 Foundation Parent Faith Night

The foundation faith night will take place on Monday 23rd October at 7.00 p.m. in the school hall.  Maria Forde will facilitate the evening.  The evening will focus on your child’s faith journey.  It will also provide information on how parents and staff can work together in partnership to provide this opportunity for our children. 

Celebrating mass

This Tuesday the 17th of October, Years 1/2VS and 3/4 BZ will be celebrating mass. We invite parents, carers and grandparents to attend this special celebration.
