Week 3 Term 4

LEGO Education International visitors Lars Ulrik Hansen, Head of Trade and Market Development, and Minsub Kim, APAC Account Lead, enjoyed interacting with the students and seeing them using LEGO as a tool for learning within a project facilitated by their teachers.

This week St Fidelis was featured on the MACS website with a short YouTube article after our International Visitors from Denmark and Singapore visited St Fidelis to see how our LEGO Education and STEM program is making a difference at our school.

Dear Parents and Carers,

Week 3 and lots has happened already.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Mr Frazzetto and the STEMMAD children. They made us proud last week. St Fidelis is a well sought after school at the Showcase and we have made lots of connections with the STEM community. Unfortunately, none of our prototypes have progressed to Nationals this year but great effort to get to the State finals last week.

We now look forward to LEGO League and hearing about this from Mr Frazzetto and the children.  We will welcome Ryan Evans LEGO Masters finalist, to our school to work with our LEGO League Students this week.

Congratulations to the athletes who also did very well in the district sports.  Kiara was 5th in 100m and the relay team 4th - great effort.

Welcome 2024 Foundation students and families

Today we welcomed our new Foundation students for their first transition session to St Fidelis. Over the next month, the new Foundation students will come to school for four transition sessions to spend time in the learning spaces and to experience different aspects of school life.  During these four sessions, the parents will meet with members of the leadership team to hear about Literacy, Numeracy,  Wellbeing and other aspects of life at St Fidelis.

School Fees OVERDUE

Anyone with outstanding fees can you please finalise them this week as fees are required for the general running costs of the school.

If you are a family with their last child in their final year at St Fidelis, can you please ensure your fees are paid before the end of October (unless you are on a payment plan). Thank you kindly.
