Grade 3 & 4 

We have been working on our culture posters - we had up to 20 photos that we had to make a decision about, as to which category they would fit in. We had four categories to our poster - social, which is being in groups, family or community; political which are the things that I believe in; aesthetic which are things of beauty or art, music, dance, literature, painting or sculpture; and economic which are goods and services that I deal with. We constructed our posters and then got to present them to our peers. The posters are now up on display in the library and in our Learning Space.

Our next mini project is determining the difference between celebration (social gathering or enjoyable activity held to celebrate something) and commemoration (a ceremony or celebration which a person or event is remembered).  We choose a celebration or commemoration that we do not know much about to research and then present our wonderings in a Google Slide presentation.
