Level 3

Level 3

3MW have started off this final term ready and raring to go, which is lucky too, because Term 4 is looking like a super busy time. In the next 2 weeks we have rehearsals before our HEPS production nights, and then 5 days of swimming!

Late last term we said goodbye to our pre-service teacher Mr Arnold with an afternoon of making biscuits that looked just like him. 3MW made a book sharing all the ways Mr Arnold was amazing, adventurous, awesome or adaptable.

To showcase our inquiry learning for Term 3, the students organised their constructed theme park rides to bring “Shrunken World” to life and invited parents to visit during our Expo afternoon. Each group of students demonstrated how their ride moved using a type of force. We had spinning rides, swinging rides, sliding rides and some pretty scary rides too! The students worked through many production problems but were able to solve these issues with some well thought out adjustments or just lots of glue and sticky tape. Have a look at some of our movable creations, all made from recycled materials.

To welcome our new classmate this term, all students crafted a way to make a replica of themselves. Here is the new display of our whole class together - what a quiet group of students they are!

We also enjoyed listening to lots of stories about our holidays – thanks for sharing your adventures 3MW.
