Year 1 Melbourne Aquarium

On Wednesday the Year Ones had an excursion to the Melbourne Aquarium as part of their inquiry into habitats. Despite the rainy weather we also managed to have some time at the Botanic Gardens. Each class had a two hour tour of the Aquarium, stopping to look at the interesting exhibits. The children gathered some fascinating information, such as the fact that the huge saltwater crocodile has 66 very sharp teeth and he only gets fed once a week, on Thursdays!!
