Rubbish-Free Lunch Boxes

Thanks everyone for working really hard towards rubbish-free lunches in Term 3. Congratulations to 3RB who won the Sparkly Lunch Box Rubbish Free Award for Term 3. Well done 3RB! In Term 4 we will continue to ask students to try hard to bring rubbish-free lunch boxes. The Environment and Sustainability Leaders will continue to remind and monitor classes as students work hard towards achieving a rubbish-free environment at Resurrection School. Good luck everyone, maybe the trophy will go to your class next!

The Kitchen Garden

The Kitchen Garden has come alive this Spring with our fruit trees starting to bud, flowers blooming and lots of growth in the veggie patches. We currently have beans, silver beet and spinach ready to harvest. The potatoes are working hard growing underground and our seedlings in the greenhouse have sprouted. This is the time of year that we start to plant tomatoes and capsicum.

Garden Club will continue to be at lunchtimes on Thursday and we look forward to seeing students there. If parents or carers are interested in assisting with the Kitchen Garden you can contact Mrs Magree. Thanks again to our garden helpers Yvonne and Mark who work hard to make our garden the magic place that it is!
