Physical Education

Foundation

In physical education classes, preps have been working on fundamental motor skills that form the foundation for their physical development. These skills encompass basic movements such as running, jumping, throwing, and catching, which are crucial for their overall coordination and agility. Through engaging activities and structured lessons, preps learn to control their bodies more effectively, improving their balance and spatial awareness. These early experiences not only promote physical fitness but also nurture confidence and enthusiasm for being active. By mastering these fundamental motor skills, preps are equipped with essential tools that will benefit them in various sports and physical activities as they continue to grow and learn.

Coaches emphasise teamwork, communication, and fair play, fostering a supportive environment where every child can develop their skills and confidence. As they have progressed through the program, students have not only improved their passing, shooting, and defensive abilities but have gained a deeper appreciation for the strategic aspects of the game. The netball program encourages physical fitness, coordination, and social interaction, laying a solid foundation for a lifelong enjoyment of sports and active living.
