Beginning of Term Three
The first day of Term Three is Monday 15th July.
Reports
Semester 1 reports will be made available to parents on Thursday 27th June via XUNO. If you require a printed copy, please contact the office.
Curriculum Day
Friday 2nd August is the next Curriculum Day. Students do not attend school on this day. Staff will be attending Day 2 of the BSEM - Berry Street Training.
Lost Property - Uniform
Our lost property collection is steadily growing and sadly many items are unnamed. We do our best to return lost items but they typically end up in the BER. As the term progresses, there seems to be more and more jumpers being left in the yard, on the oval and at the play equipment. Please assist us by naming all your child’s school clothing and reminding your child to take greater care for their property.
School Saving Bonus 2025
You may have seen the recent announcement of the School Saving Bonus, as part of the Victorian Budget 2024/25. This one-off support will include $400 for each eligible student to help families cover the costs of school uniforms and activities in 2025. It will be available to parents and carers of every child enrolled in a Victorian government school in 2025. Cash will not be paid directly to individuals or families. Instead, families will receive the bonus as credit that will help meet the costs of your children’s activities and uniforms. The School Saving Bonus support will be in addition to existing and continuing means-tested supports for CSEF (Camps, Sports, Excursions Fund).
Prep enrolments for 2025
Prep enrolments for 2025 are being accepted and should be submitted by the end of term. If you know of families interested in attending Rochester Primary School in 2025, please encourage them to contact the school.
