Term 3, Week 2
We have had a very successful Term 2. Students have continued to improve and are really starting to enjoy their lessons and Band/Ensemble rehearsals. This was very evident in their hard work which showed in our recent Mid-Year Soirée. What a great night of music. All students equipped themselves well and the night was a huge success. We must not forget our hard-working Instrumental Music Teachers; the students have accomplished some remarkable results so far this year. Thank You! A Big thank you to all parents, without your full support and encouragement our jobs would be much harder and not as enjoyable and rewarding.
Could you all please remember that ALL rehearsals BEGIN at 8.00am.
Arrival time should be no later than 7.50am to help set up,
warm instruments and be ready to start at 8.00am.

Thursday - Symphonic Band in Gym
Friday - Concert Band in Gym & Novice Guitar Ensemble in Music Room
Upcoming Events
Our Symphonic Band are in the process of rehearsing for their performance at the Victorian Schools Music Festival (VSMF) in early September, also all Bands and Ensembles are starting to rehearse for our End of Year Concert in November. This should be a spectacular evening of music. Please put it in your diary NOVEMBER 13th.
There will be assemblyperformances and other events where our students will perform. Please consult Compass for any upcoming performances.
