Dear Families,

SACRED HEART TALENT SHOW

Thank you to all the families that were able to come along and see the Talent Show Part 1 and 2 to celebrate our Feast Day over the past 2 weeks. Both shows were a joy to watch and I think everyone was thoroughly entertained by our performers! 

It is so great to see the growth of our students as they volunteered to share a talent, sing, dance, demonstrate skills in front of a large audience. Many adults have mentioned to me during the past week that they wouldn't perform in front of an audience now; let alone as a child!

Thank you to our wonderful hosts from Year 5/6 who did a great job, often having to learn the showbiz skill of 'winging it' and going with the flow.

Thanks to the students who supported by being such a kind and appreciative audience - this allowed our performers to trust that their performances would be appreciated, enjoyed and applauded. 

CONFIRMATION - FRIDAY 26TH JULY 7PM

A note went home this week to catholic students in Year 5 and 6 with information regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation which will occur on Friday 26th of July at 7pm.  We have quite a large group making their Confirmation this year so it should be a special night  - I will send a note home soon asking for  students in Year 3 to 6 that are available to join us to assist in the choir and singing on this evening. 

We are looking forward to Bishop Terry Curtin visiting all the students in Year 5/6 on Tuesday 25th of June.
