End of Semester Update

This semester, students have diligently prepared for their end-of-semester exams, culminating in a successful start to their academic journey across core and elective subjects.

We extend our gratitude to the students for their unwavering dedication and commitment to both preparation and performance during their first examination period at Bemin Secondary College. Their efforts have undoubtedly set a positive tone for the remainder of the semester. As we transition into the second semester, we encourage the students to maintain their dedication and perseverance. We appreciate their hard work in preparing for their chosen senior pathways, including their second semester electives.

TLI & VSV students

The students involved in our TLI program at both Year 7 and Year 10 are congratulated for the way they have embraced their learning. Their Virtual Schools Victoria tutors have commended the students on the way that they have improved their literacy skills across their intervention period as well their preparedness for learning.

Students enrolled in VCE Biology and VCE Business management have also been acknowledged for the completion of their Unit 1 studies in VCE. These students have shown an ability to take responsibility of their learning as well as push themselves outside of their comfort zone in completing practicals at home as well applying the knowledge through the support of their teachers. Their VSV supervisors have commended our students for their attitude towards learning as well as the results achieved. They should be extremely proud of themselves as they prepare for Unit 2. 

Overall, students are congratulated on how well they have settled into Bemin Secondary College. We hope you all have a well-deserved break.

Electives

Both Year 7 and Year 10 students will be immersing themselves in a new rotation of elective subjects, we are excited to see our students delve into new learning areas and develop their skills in the areas of food (Year 7), arts/ceramic (Year 7), drama and a range of other subjects.
