Volleyball Comp

The Yr 10 Year Level Captains have been hard at work this year, curating the perfect event to get Year 10 students involved in some healthy competition. With the rise of Volleyball, the cohort was ready to go head-to-head and battle it out for the award of Best Volleyball Players in Year 10 (please note, this is not a real award). In honour of a free lunch, more than 50 Year 10 students piled onto the courts of the ECA for a Round Robin like no other.

More Year 10 students cheered from the side lines as spikes, rallies and killer serves were thrown. Ultimately, only one team could win. Until . . .

. . . the staff arrived.

It's always a pleasure to see students and teachers build rapport on the courts. And the students, as always put up a good fight, even besting the staff a few times.

All in all, the afternoon was filled with cheers and comradery from the Year 10 cohort. We can't wait to do it again!

We want to thank the Year 10 Captains, Stephanie Bennett, Kendra Prothero, Kaitlyn Kos and Maggie Shores, for their organisation of the day, the courts, the teams and all the little details.
