Communication

Good Communication between home and school is vital for everyone.

In consultation with school council, we have reviewed our communications policy.

It is important to note that our families main contact at school is their child's classroom teacher/s. This is the person who spends the most time with your child/ren and would be the best person to communicate with to answer any questions and provide suggested steps or action to address concerns. All email communication with classroom teachers must come through the roxburgh.park.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Notably, we acknowledge that important of creating a way for families to communicate directly with members of the Leadership Team and/or inclusion and wellbeing team so that sensitive and confidential information can be easily shared. We have our principal@roxburghparkps.vic.edu.au which is managed by the principal and school leaders. 

The attached document outlines the many reasons families may reach out to communicate with the school and how to intimate contact. We hope that this policy continues to support the partnership between home and school as we work together to create the best possible outcomes for our students at Roxburgh Park Primary School.
