Highlight
Selamat siang,
This week, we explored a real world maths challenge: adopting a dog! Students had to identify the expenses that goes into adopting their dog within the first weeks, months and year including their food, bedding, toys, vet bills and more! We created a budget to see how these costs add up. This task helped us practise our number skills, compare prices, and make sensible money decisions. It was a fun and practical way to understand financial responsibility while imagining life with a furry friend!
Throughout the week, we also continued our writing process, allowing students to practise drafting, editing and upleveling their narratives as well as having an opportunity to write their Big Write on their devices to practise typing and publishing! In Guided Inquiry, we have been blown away as students have created and are beginning to finalise their products and spaces, keep an eye out for our Seesaw post next week.
