2026 Swimming Carnival
Our 2026 Swimming Carnival is being held on Wednesday 4th February, 2026. This event requires online consent/permission via Compass to be completed by Wednesday 28th January, 2026.
The Swimming Carnival is part of our school sports program and ALL Primary-aged children are expected to be there. Year 2 students who are turning 8 years old in 2026 and can COMPETITIVELY swim 50m are invited to email setsport@arm.catholic.edu.au to be placed in events.

Basketball
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to our 5 basketball teams for playing in the Primary School Grand Finals last Thursday. It was a great amount of community support from parents, students and the parish. We are thrilled to announce the results below.
Dio Basketball
Last Friday, 8 students trialled for the Armidale Diocesan Basketball team. These students competed against other students from around the Armidale Diocese to make the team. Congratulations to Lilly, Lucy, Wyatt, Matt and Chase for successfully making the team! Absent from the picture Cooper Charnock and Zayne Wall.
Tennis
Last Friday, Baylen competed against students from the Armidale Diocese to earn a spot in the Armidale team to compete at the Polding Trials. He played well in his matches and showed true St Ed's spirit. We are proud of his efforts!

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
