2025 School Presentation Night
Thank you to the whole of our St Edward's community who joined us for our 2025 Presentation Night at the TRECC on Tuesday evening. The venue was buzzing with excitement as we were able to celebrate together all the wonderful achievements from the school year.

R.E. NEWS
Advent
This Sunday is the third Sunday of Advent. We light the “Shepherds Candle” (pink). This reminds us of the Joy the world experienced at the coming birth of Jesus.
Parish Nativity Play
Thank you for volunteering to participate in our Annual Parish Nativity Play for the Christmas Eve Children's Mass at 6.00pm. Students will receive their scripts and be fitted for costumes today. Please note, there may be some practices at the church prior to the Mass. We will make contact with you to let you know.
End of Year Mass
All students K - 6 will gather to celebrate the End of Year Mass, tomorrow Friday 12th December, at 10.00am in Mary Help of Christians Church. Infants students will travel up by bus.
Graduation Mass - Year 6
Just a reminder that next Tuesday 16th December we will celebrate our Year 6 Graduation Mass, beginning at 10.00am. Year 6 parents and families are invited to attend. Students are asked to wear their full summer school uniform, including black school shoes. Parking will be made available in the top staff car park and on the asphalt.
We are looking forward to coming together to share this important milestone with our Year 6 students and families.

LIBRARY
Please return Library books
Thank you to all parents and carers who have helped return books to the library so far.
With only 4 more school days left, we would love to have all overdue books returned by tomorrow Friday 12/12/25.
If your child brings home an overdue notice, we’d really appreciate your help in searching for the missing books - check around the house, in bookshelves, packing boxes, or anywhere they might have been tucked away - and sending them back to the library as soon as possible.
Students are welcome to return books any day of the week; they don’t need to wait until their usual library day.
If you believe a mistake has been made, students are very welcome to pop into the library so they can help locate the book in our system. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at cmichell@arm.catholic.edu.au
SORA - Get free eBooks and audiobooks from your school
We encourage students to continue reading during the school holidays. St Edward's students have access to SORA, an online library offering a wide range of eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines. To log in from home, students will need their school email address and password, which can be obtained from their teacher. Below are instructions for logging into SORA.

Early Bird Reading Club: from 8.30 am every day when each campus is open.
